Make Music Madison venue June 21

This year the "WIDE-LP Radio Transmitter Garage" is a Make Music Madison venue. Featuring original music, we will be broadcasting live from noon to about 2 pm on Wed. June 21. If it rains we will be in the garage, but otherwise we will be in the driveway, or in the shade of the front lawn if it is hot and sunny.
Location: 626 Orchard Drive
Performers (with approximate times):
12:00 pm - 12:15 pm Carl Wacker
12:15 pm - 12:30 pm Paula Pachciarz
12:30 pm - 12:45 pm Grandpa Squeezit (Mike Briggs)
12:45 pm - 1:00 pm Mary Frantz (playing pieces by then 16 yr. old Madison composer Robin Park-Doob)
1:00 pm - 1:15 pm Raging Grannies of Madison
1:15 pm - 1:30 pm Van Stellars (local duo)
1:30 pm - 1:45 pm John Stano
1:45 pm - 2:00 pm TBD
Tune in to 99.1 FM to hear the live music, or stop by. We'll have at least a dozen folding chairs in the driveway. If it is hot and sunny bring a lawn chair or blanket and sit in the shade on the front lawn. For the official event description (where late additions to the list of performers are not included) see our Make Music Madison page at
Following conclusion of the music we will have CD and cookbook sales to help raise funds for the station. CDs recently donated to the station include over 100 in the world music genre and over 300 by women performers.

Make Music Madison event a success

John Stano performed at 1 pm rather than 1:30, followed by a quartet of Raging Grannies and the Van Stellars. It started to rain during the last act, and we did not proceed to any CD or cookbook sales.
Photos of the event have been posted on our Twitter site - We had 35 people in attendance at one point.
