May Radio Council Meetings

We met again on May 15 and talked about technical details associated with the start of broadcasting. Donated equipment is being repaired. The required emergency broadcast equipment we purchased weeks ago had not yet arrived. Someone from Soul Wide may go to the Wisconsin Dells to pick it up. We need it for the June 10 test of the emergency broadcast system. Eric has made some progress with new software we hope to use.
At the May 8 meeting we talked about setting up the antenna at Bob's house on Hammersley Road, to meet an FCC deadline of May 23 for getting on the air. The official start time will be noon that day, but we plan to start test broadcasting at noon on May 22. We talked about the line up of programs for our first day on the air.
